What's a quality gamers can genuinely claim as their own? Perhaps they can't claim to be amazing runners, or excellent lifters. But something they can truly claim, is their excellent mental ability! On behalf of HP, we wanted to turn that insight into something interesting and highly shareable. So we dug a little deeper, did some actual research, and developed a personality system built around eight gamer archetypes — each one a distinct character with its own world, material qualities, and visual identity. Part personality quiz, part character universe, we led creative direction on the concept, the visual system, and the 3D character design — grounding the whole experience in contemporary personality research. —
